Jess

It is a great adventure and challenge to photograph life-style images in children homes. I have to be prepared for everything because before I get trough the door, I have no idea what the house looks like, what the light is going to be like and if there is enough room to photograph in. At the same time I want to capture memories and real personality of my little subjects. I have to be fast and go with the flow :).

First we went with mum around the house searching for the best light talking about their daily activities and what they like to do. Then I photographed Jess drawing a picture for her dad, jumping on the bed with mum, we were reading a story about mermaid, watching a favorite story and we put teddies to bed for an afternoon sleep...

I loved the session and here are some of my favourites :)

Friendship

Toddlers friendship: fights, hugs, whispering, shouting, stubborn looks, blowing kisses, sharing toys, stealing toys, learning from each other...  I love to watch them playing together. One will think of something interesting the other one will follow. Not always us parents agree with their interest... but they part and the whole flat looks as if the bomb blew up, I know they had good fun and that makes me happy! :)

New life

I love this quote "A grand adventure is about to begin." - Winnie the Pooh

Doesn't the adventure start from the moment woman discover she is pregnant? Everything changes, million questions start filling her head and then she is filled with happiness. Then the impatience kicks on the door and wants to hold the child in her arms. There is something magical about pregnancy and I love creating the images of this special faze of every mum's life.

Here are some of my favourite photos I took of Radka and Terry. I enjoyed every minute of the session and I cannot wait for their new addition to photograph. See you soon :).

New Packaging

I love neutral tones and hand made things from eco friendly materials especially recycled wood or handmade lokta paper. Some things are made by me such as Photo folder or Mums book but there are times where I need to delegate the task but still try to keep it very specific to my brand.

For some time I kept searching for packaging, which would go with my style and belief and now I got these. But I personalize it for every single client. Why do I make it more difficult for myself? Because I care, because I love what I am doing and because I like things special and unique and my clients deserve that.

Hugo's diary: Monkeys

Nearby where we leave there is Monkey Forest where 140 monkeys live in total freedom. It is set in 60 acres of beautiful Staffordshire woodland. Absolutely great place to go, if you want to spend quality family day out.

We enjoyed every minute spent there. My little monkey Hugo decided that he is going to copy them and tried to claim the trees, sat on the path as Monkeys do and at some point he though that he could get a cuddle from them :).

Noah

Last week I had a fast fun session with Noah and his mum. I love to photograph small babies in their cot. It just shows their vulnerability and the need of protection and as they get bigger they are becoming more confident and independent.

Noah is 5 months young and loves to watch the world around him. When his mum put him on the belly he held his head very high and kept checking checking around and posing for me and then he started showing off his new skill, rolling to his back. So cute, enjoyed the session entirely.

Here are some of my favourites...

Challenge: Interesting Perspectives

I am well known for challenging myself quite often so it is probably not a surprise to friends of mine to see this post about a new challenge.

Now it's time for monthly challenge with Clickin moms and the theme for March is 'Interesting Perspective'.

I have to admit that at first I could not think of anything but as the first image was created, new ideas were born too. There are different techniques to achieve some creative perspectives but I enjoyed using wide angle lens. The images are 'beautifully weird'. :))

Now head over to Maggie to see her Interesting Perspectives. Just click here.
