Here is our fun family day. But you can't see dad nor mum? Well let me tell
you our story.
I am a firm believer that role play and dressing up games are important in
early years of child and it is so much fun, so why should we dress up only on
special occasions such as Halloween. Children learn many new things just by
playing.
So I made the costume by cutting an old T-shirt and jeans I did not
like that much (ha! my excuse to rip them off). I cut of foam sheet and glued
some feathers I keep in our creative box and that was it. When I showed it to
Hugo, he exclaimed 'and where is my horse?!'
Oh dear, no native Indian without a
horse, so I thought I will make some from an old sock, but that morning we went
to a Sunday market and there he was, for £1!!!
In the evening as the sun was setting down we went to our nearby field. Now
it was Daddy's turn to explain how he needs to tame a horse first, spend some time with
him, feed him and he will become his best friend...
I loved it! It was an activity we all contributed to and cost soo little.
Daddy was coming up with new ideas as if he entered into his own childhood and
Hugo? Well, see for yourself :)
After we got home, Hugo put his horse into his stable (yeap, on the ground beside his bed) and announced, next time mum I want to be a pirate!
